How to Use a Flatbed Scanner return to Photoshop Skills page

Place the photo face down on the glass in the right hand corner. Be careful not to touch the glass, finger prints will show up.

Slowly close the scanner so that the print will not move while you are closing it.



Click on the Scanner icon on the dock.

When this window appears, then click Scan. Your photo should be in the Scanner folder on the desktop...

Next, find your image in the scanner folder, rename it & drag it into the "PHOTO VAULT" file, located in the CVHS_206_TEACHER folder.
Then, go to your computer, open the PHOTO VAULT file in CVHS_206_TEACHER, find your image, click on it and drag it to your desktop.
