NOT QUITE 3D, IT'S THE 2.5D MOTION EFFECT
This is a motion graphic effect that you can use on your still images, and the guy in this video is entertaining, so have some fun with this Photoshop lesson -it will add a diferent effect to your photos & add to your Photoshop skills.

Pick a suitable image from your files, open it in Photoshop and use the video's step-by-step instructions to create a motion graphic out of your photo.

Save your image as a GIF and post it to the Google Classroom folder and to your website.

A couple tips about the video.
•Peter McKinnon does an intro explaining about the technique, then does an ad for Squarespace... then gets to the Photoshop instructions at 3:44.
•McKinnon demonstrates you how to make a selection using the pen tool. If you are unsure about using the pen tool to make a selection, you can use another selction tool, such as the lasso, magnetic lasso, or quick select tool.
