SHELTER IN PLACE ASSIGNMENT
Now that we're facing another month of Shelter In Place... (ahhhhhh), I think it's appropriate that we shoot images that reflects the shelter in place experience. So, here's the assignment. Capture photos that illustrate your (or your family's) situation, mood(s) or experience during these strange times. To help guide you, take a look at this photo essay called, "STILL LIVES" -It's a collection of images, published by NY Times on April 21st, documenting photographers' SHELTER IN PLACE experience.

FIRST• LOOK AT THE "STILL LIVES" PHOTO ESSAY

(Don't confuse this with our recent Still Life photo assignment, this is a photo essay published in the New York Times about photographers' personal experiences during the Shelter In Place order).

SECOND• PHOTOGRAPH YOUR EXPERIENCE
Shoot multiple images of your Shelter In Place experience. Use your photography skills, knowledge of composition & light to caputre moments or scenes that represent your SIP experience.

THIRD• SUBMIT IMAGES IN GOOGLE CLASSROOM
FINAL PRODUCT: SUBMIT TWO SHELTER IN PLACE images in Google Classroom.
Pick your two best "SIP" photos.
•Use your phone's in-camera photo app to crop your images.
•Adjust the tonal and color balance using your in-camera app -or create effects using 3rd party camera apps.
•Submit your cropped and adjusted images in the Google Classroom folder.
No proofsheet is required.
You do not have to put images on backgrounds...
•I have attached an online Google Rubric with the assignment.
•I will fill out the rubric to provide you with an assessment of you images.
