LOW PERSPECTIVE EXAMPLES

Low Perspective Assignment
Shooting from an "unusual perspective" is one of the techniques you can use to make your images more interesting. This assignment is all about using a fun, creative approach; a way to explore taking photos from a different vantage point.

WHAT TO DO

PICK MULTIPLE SITUATIONS/SUBJECTS AND TAKE 20 PHOTOS FROM A LOW & CLOSE PERSPECTIVE

SHOOTING TIPS

•Fill the frame with the subject
•For the "close & low" perspective, get close to your subject.
•Look at the edges of your frames, not just the center, watch out for distracting backgrounds or objects "growing" out of subject's heads...

•For your low shot, you may need to put your camera on the ground.

SUBMITTING YOUR PHOTOS
•Turn in 2 Images and a 20-image proofsheet showing images shot from "down low" perspective.
•Pick your two favorite photos that demonstrate low perspective.
Correct the tonal values of the images using your Smartphone in-camera app.
•Also, use your in-camera image editing app to crop your photos -so they're good compositions...
•Submit your 2 images and your proofsheet in the correct period # "LOW PERSPECTIVE" folder in Google Classroom.

Things to photograph: People, animals, buildings, nature, almost anything... how low can you go?
