STEP 3: Shoot the Assignment -Look for objects in your environment and shoot photos using the techniques mentioned in the lecture slides, linked articles and videos.
SHOOT A MINIMUM OF 20 IMAGES -making technical and compositional adjustments until you have two awesome close-up images!
TIPS FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT:
•Find an interesting objects and use beautiful light & composition to shoot close-up photos.
•Get close, but make sure your camera can focus at that distance -make sure your subject is FOCUSED!
•Stay steady.
•Keep it simple -make sure there is nothing growing out of the subject -this will ruin the effect.
•Use your imagination when creating your photos -Composition!
•Experiment with camera angles until the scene shows the elements in the most pleasing balance.
FINAL PRODUCT: SUBMIT TWO AMAZING CLOSE-UP images & a 20-image proofsheet in Google Classroom.
•Pick your two best close-ups.
•Use your phone app to crop your images.
•Adjust the tonal and color balance using your in-camera app -or create effects using 3rd party camera apps.
•Submit your two cropped and adjusted images in the Google Classroom folder.
•A 20-image proofsheet is required.
