MIRROR IMAGERY ASSIGNMENT




STEP 1 •THE MIRROR IMAGERY "SHOOTING" ASSIGNMENT

•Shoot a minimum of 20 images to give yourself a selection of "source images" that you will use to create two "Mirror Imagery" composites.

•Take interesting photos of graphic scenes -think about light, lines, patterns,shapes...
•You must shoot at least one of the images for this assignment!
•You can only use 1 photo you already have in your files.


STEP 2 •WHAT TO DO -Use Photoshop to create "mirrored" composites.
•HERE IS A STEP-BY-STEP YOUTUBE TUTORIAL



•After you have created your "Mirrored" image, put it on a Photoshop background.
•Make sure it is resized small enough so it is small enough to be previewed in Google Classroom.

CREATE TWO OF THESE COMPOSITE "MIRROR IMAGERY" PHOTOS
•Put each composite image on an individual Photoshop slide background.
•Color the slide backgrounds.
•Put a border or drop shadow around your combined mirroredimages...

WHAT TO SUBMIT
•Submit two Mirror Images created from images that you've shot for this assignment.
•Save and submit images as:
your initials-mirror1
your initials-mirror2

*note -these are not images shot in a mirror, these are single images merged together to create the Mirror Imagery effect...

ASSIGNMENT TIPS
•Shoot images that are graphic and have symmetry.
•Have some fun with this –MAKE YOUR PHOTOS INTERESTING AND CREATIVE
