RESUME ASSIGNMENT •20 points•
You will be creating a resume to go with your photography portfolio. A resume is one of the first steps to applying for a job -no matter what type of employment you're looking for.
Your resume represents a bit of who you are, your education, work experience and any special skills you might have. The resume needs to be concise & easy to read but also designed well. Usually at this stage in your life you should keep your resume to one page.
Remember to use good design principles: such as contrast, alignment, and proximity. Check for spelling, capitalization errors and typos.
You can use this MS Word resume template...You do not have to use this particular template if you have another one that you prefer. You can also search online for different types of resume templates... If you already have a resume, then update it to reflect your current skills (DSLR photography, Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, studio lighting, MS Word,PowerPoint and any other skills you may have overlooked...)
Make sure you proofread your resume! There is nothing worse than having a potential employer find spelling mistakes on your resume. Once you have proofread it have someone else proofread it also!
