STUDENTS' HAND-TINTED PINHOLE EXAMPLES
HAND-TINTING YOUR PINHOLE IMAGE
• At your computer, find your image in the scanner server file. Drag image file to your desktop, then log off the server.
• Open your photo in Photoshop -you can keep your image a "negative," or you can make it a "positive" by pressing command+i -this will change your photo into a "positivge" image...
• Change your image from "grayscale" to RGB Color (go to image>mode>RGBcolor)
•Use the "magic wand" tool to select specific areas you want to color.
•Use the Photoshop gradient, or paint bucket and/or paintbrush tools to TINT your pinhole photo.
•REMEMBER, YOU ARE TINTING YOUR PHOTO, NOT COVERING UP THE IMAGE WITH YOUR COLOR, SO YOU NEED TO REDUCE THE "OPACITY" SETTING ON YOUR GRADIENT, PAINT BUCKET, OR PAINTBRUSH TOOLS... (see below)
•Save your hand-tinted pinholes as:
•Submit them in the Google Classroom Pinhole assignment folder
•Remember to submit a rubric with your images
