THE "BLIND SPOT"
ADVANCED PANORAMA ASSIGNMENT
•Shoot 2 types of panorama photos -a "clone" panorama & "tiny planet" panorama.
•DO NOT USE THE PANORAMA FEATURE ON YOUR SMARTPHONE!
•SHOOT ONE "MULTIPLE CLONE" STYLE PANORAMA (see below)
•USE THE "TINY PLANET" APPROACH TO CREATE YOUR SECONDPANORAMA (see below)
WHAT TO DO:
Stand in one location and shoot a series of photos (approximately 5-8 images) panning slowly across an area, overlapping each image as you take photos, to create a collage style panorama. Have some fun with this –try shooting one at school and one away from school!
After you have shot your images, combine them on a Photoshop background.
HOW DO YOU DO THIS?
Step 1. Make your new panorama Photoshop background this size:
•Height: 7.0 inches
•Resolution: 300 dpi
Step 2. Give the background a color.
Step 3. Before placing your images on the background, resize them using the crop tool (so they fit on the background) using use the curves or levels adjustments to correct your exposures.
Step 4. After you have cropped and adjusted the tonality of your images (using L Levels), copy and paste them onto a background, overlapping the images to create a panorama.
Step 5. Write your name, period # and Panorama on your slide
Step 6. You will be submitting TWO panoramas.
•One panorama on each background.
•Save your panoramas in the correct period# pano folder.
•Title your images using these names:
